Wednesday, November 2, 2022 – Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed

“The souls of the just are in the hands of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed in the view of the foolish to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction, and their going forth from us utter destruction.  But they are in peace.” Wisdom 3:1-3.

“O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are in most need of your mercy.” Irish Funeral Prayer.

Our Father God, we pray for the souls gone before us – bring them swiftly to eternal peace. Our life here is only preparation for what lies in eternity, happiness forever with You.  We offer the joys and trials of this day for the Holy Souls – may they rejoice forever. Amen.

Miércoles 2 de noviembre 2022 – Conmemoración de todos los fieles difuntos

"Las almas de los justos están en las manos de Dios, y ningún tormento las tocará. A la vista de los necios, están bien muertos; y su muerte se pensó que era una aflicción, y su partida de nosotros una destrucción total.  Pero están en paz". Sabiduría 3:1-3.

"Oh Jesús mío, perdónanos nuestros pecados, sálvanos de los fuegos del infierno y lleva a todas las almas al cielo, especialmente a las que más necesitan de tu misericordia". Oración fúnebre irlandesa.

Dios Padre nuestro, oramos por las almas que nos precedieron, llévalas rápidamente a la paz eterna. Nuestra vida aquí es sólo preparación para lo que yace en la eternidad, felicidad para siempre contigo.  Ofrecemos las alegrías y pruebas de este día para las Almas Santas – que se regocijen para siempre. Amén.
