“Defend the lowly and the fatherless; render justice to the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the lowly and the poor; from the hand of the wicked deliver them.” Psalm 82:3-4.

“God loves the lowly. When we live humbly, he takes our small efforts and creates great things.” Pope Francis.

My God, so many people suffer because of absent parents and poverty. May we help those who struggle, recognizing we haven’t walked in their shoes. May we act with charity and from a generous humble heart. Amen.

"Defiende a los humildes y a los huérfanos; Hagan justicia a los que sufren y a los indigentes. Rescata a los humildes y a los pobres; de la mano de los impíos, líbralos". Salmos 82:3-4.

"Dios ama a los humildes. Cuando vivimos humildemente, él toma nuestros pequeños esfuerzos y crea grandes cosas". Papa Francisco.

Dios mío, tanta gente sufre a causa de la ausencia de padres y de la pobreza. Que podamos ayudar a los que luchan, reconociendo que no hemos caminado en sus zapatos. Que actuemos con caridad y desde un corazón generoso y humilde. Amén.
