“Take care not to perform righteous deeds in order that people may see them…And when you give alms do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your almsgiving may be secret, and your Father who sees in secret will repay you.” Matthew 6:1,3-4.

“You say to me ‘Show me your God.’ I answer you, ‘Everything you see in your heart that might sadden God, remove.” St. Augustine.

Heavenly Father, in your mercy, be our help to act humbly.  May we have the grace to see we are created by you and for you.  It is you we serve, and you are our reward. May we find great joy in service to the kingdom.  Amen.

"Tengan cuidado de no realizar obras justas para que la gente pueda verlas... Y cuando des limosna, no dejes que tu mano izquierda sepa lo que tu mano derecha está haciendo, para que tu limosna sea secreta, y tu Padre que ve en secreto te lo pagará". Mateo 6:1,3-4.

Padre Celestial, en tu misericordia, sé nuestra ayuda para actuar humildemente.  Que tengamos la gracia de ver que somos creados por ti y para ti.  Somos a ustedes a quienes servimos, y ustedes son nuestra recompensa. Que encontremos gran gozo en el servicio al reino.  Amén.
