“When those who started at 5:00 came, they received the usual daily wage. But when the first came, they also got the usual wage. And on receiving it they grumbled against the landowner saying “These last ones worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us, who bore the days burden and heat.” Matthew 20:9-12.

“He loves. He hopes. He waits. Our Lord prefers to wait for the sinner for years rather than keep us waiting an instant.” St. Maria Goretti.

O Jesus, I thank You for your mercy!  Even those who never gave You a thought can on their deathbed find Your mercy and gain all the riches of eternal life. Maybe they have had the harder task, not knowing You until the last hour. We thank You that we are judged in mercy. Amen.

"Cuando los que comenzaron a las 5:00 vinieron, recibieron el salario diario habitual. Pero cuando llegaron los primeros, también recibieron el salario habitual. Y al recibirlo, se quejaron contra el terrateniente diciendo: "Estos últimos trabajaron solo una hora, y los has hecho iguales a nosotros, que llevamos la carga y el calor del día". Mateo 20:9-12.

"Él ama. Él espera. Él aguarda. Nuestro Señor prefiere esperar al pecador durante años en lugar de mantenernos esperando un instante". Santa María Goretti.

¡Oh Jesús, te doy gracias por tu misericordia!  Incluso aquellos que nunca te dieron un pensamiento pueden en su lecho de muerte encontrar Tu misericordia y obtener todas las riquezas de la vida eterna. Tal vez han tenido la tarea más difícil, no conocerte hasta la última hora. Te damos gracias porque somos juzgados en misericordia. Amén.
