“But the people would not receive him, because his face was set towards Jerusalem. And when his disciples James and John saw it, they said, “Lord, do you want us to bid fire come down from heaven and consume them?” But he turned and rebuked them. And they went on to another village.” Luke 9:53-56.

“Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, not even if your whole world seems upset. If you find you have wandered away from the shelter of God, lead your heart back to Him quietly and simply.” St. Francis de Sales.

Holy Spirit, there is inside us a drive to annihilate those who do not see things our way or pull in the direction we do. Inspire us to find alternative and amicable ways of handling explosive situations that the best may be the one which is done and that peace may always reign. Amen.

"Pero el pueblo no lo recibiría, porque su rostro estaba puesto hacia Jerusalén. Y cuando sus discípulos Santiago y Juan lo vieron, dijeron: "Señor, ¿quieres que bajemos fuego del cielo y los consumamos?" Pero se volvió y los reprendió. Y se fueron a otro pueblo". Lucas 9:53-56.

"No pierdas una hora de paz interior por nada en absoluto, ni siquiera si todo tu mundo parece molesto. Si descubres que te has alejado del refugio de Dios, lleva tu corazón de vuelta a Él en silencio y simplemente". San Francisco de Sales.

Espíritu Santo hay dentro de nosotros un impulso para aniquilar a aquellos que no ven las cosas a nuestra manera o tiran en la dirección que nosotros hacemos. Inspíranos a encontrar formas alternativas y amistosas de manejar situaciones explosivas que la mejor sea la que se haga y que la paz siempre reine. Amén.
