“When people are empty of Christ, a thousand and one other things come and fill them up: jealousies, hatreds, boredom, melancholy, resentment, a worldly outlook, and worldly pleasures. Try to fill your soul with Christ so that it’s not empty.” St. Porphyrios.

Lord God – it seems not much has changed in two thousand years. Still, as a nation, we cannot bear to hear your word, we want our worldly wisdom. Have mercy Oh God, send your Spirit to renew us in Truth. Amen

"Cuando la gente está vacía de Cristo, mil y una cosa más vienen y las llenan: celos, odios, aburrimiento, melancolía, resentimiento, una perspectiva y placeres mundanos. Traten de llenar su alma con Cristo para que no esté vacía." San Porfirio.

Señor Dios – parece que no ha cambiado mucho en dos mil años. Aun, como nación, no podemos soportar escuchar tu palabra, queremos nuestra sabiduría mundana. Ten piedad Oh Dios, envía tu Espíritu para renovarnos en la Verdad. amén
