“For if you love those who love you, what recompense will you have? Do not the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brothers only, what is unusual about that? Do not the pagans do the same? So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.” Matthew 5:46-48.

Lord Jesus, You want us to be like You; doing the unusual, doing the perfect thing as You did: forgiving the unforgivable; dying for the rebels; loving the unlovable. Lord give us the grace for it is easier said than done. Amen.

Señor Jesús, Tú quieres que seamos como Tú; haciendo lo inusual, haciendo lo perfecto como Tu hiciste: perdonar lo imperdonable; morir por los rebeldes; amando a los que no son amados. Señor, danos la gracia porque es más fácil decirlo que hacerlo. Amén.
