“Brothers and Sisters – We hold this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing power may be of God and not from us. We are afflicted in every way, but not constrained; perplexed but not driven to despair…always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our body.” 2 Corinthians 4:7-8,10.

“Do not be troubled or weighed down with grief. Do not fear any illness, vexation, anxiety or pain. Am I not here who am your mother? Are you not under my shadow and protection? Am I not your fountain of life? Are you not in the folds of my mantle? In the crossings of my arms?” Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Lord God, be with us when we suffer. Help us to stay grounded in You, our rock. You are our refuge and our strength, guiding and holding us, when we cannot see the light. May Jesus live in us, in joy and in sorrow, until the final victory is won. Amen.

"Hermanos y hermanas: tenemos este tesoro en vasijas de barro, para que el poder supremo sea de Dios y no de nosotros. Estamos afligidos en todos los sentidos, pero no limitados; perplejos, pero no llevados a la desesperación ... llevando siempre en el cuerpo la muerte de Jesús, para que la vida de Jesús también se manifieste en nuestra persona". 2 Corintios 4:7-8,10.

"No te preocupes ni te agobies por el dolor. No temas ninguna enfermedad, aflicción, ansiedad o dolor. ¿No estoy yo aquí, que soy tu madre? ¿No estás bajo mi sombra y protección? ¿No soy yo tu fuente de vida? ¿No estás en los pliegues de mi manto? ¿En los cruces de mis brazos?" Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe.

Señor Dios, quédate con nosotros cuando sufrimos. Ayúdanos a mantenernos arraigados a Ti, nuestra roca. Tú eres nuestro refugio y nuestra fuerza, guiándonos y sosteniéndonos, cuando no podemos ver la luz. Que Jesús viva en nosotros, en la alegría y en la tristeza, hasta que se gane la victoria final. Amén.
