“Jesus said…Are you discussing with one another… ‘A little while and you will not see me, and again a little while and you will see me’? Amen, Amen I say to you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices and you will grieve, but your grief will become joy.” John 16:19-20.

“. . . Stay in the boat in which our Lord has placed you, and let the storm come. You will not perish. It appears to you that Jesus is sleeping, but let it be so. Don’t you know that if He sleeps, His heart vigilantly watches over you?” St. Padre Pio.

Lord God, what a trial of faith Your disciples went through. To see You tortured and then crucified, and then rejoicing that You live forever more!  Through the intercession of those early disciples, may we be faithful, and be joyful witnesses to all we meet. Amen.

"Jesús dijo... ¿Están discutiendo el uno con el otro ... 'Un poco de tiempo y no me verán, y después de otro poco me volverán a ver'? En verdad les digo que llorarán y se lamentarán mientras el mundo se alegrara y ustedes estarán afligidos, pero tu dolor se convertirá en alegría". Juan 16:19-20.

". . . Quédate en la barca en la que nuestro Señor te ha colocado, y deja que venga la tormenta. No perecerás. Te parecerá que Jesús está durmiendo, pero déjalo así. ¿No sabes que, si Él duerme, Su corazón vela vigilante por ti?" San Padre Pío.

Señor Dios, qué prueba de fe pasaron tus discípulos. ¡Verte torturado y crucificado, y luego regocijarse de que tú vives para siempre!  Ruego que por intercesión de esos primeros discípulos seamos testigos fieles y gozosos de todo lo que encontremos. Amén.
