“And he called out, “Father Abraham, have mercy upon me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am in anguish in this flame.’ “But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner evil things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish.” Luke 16:24-25.

Lord Jesus, thank you for teaching us that you record the good that we do on earth. Give us the grace to multiply our acts of charity to those we live with and those we meet. Amen.

Entonces gritó: ‘Padre Abraham, ten misericordia de mí, y envía a Lázaro para que moje la punta de su dedo en agua y refresque mi lengua; porque me torturan estas llamas’ "Pero Abraham le dijo: 'Hijo, acuérdate que en tu vida recibiste bienes y Lázaro, en cambio males; pero ahora él goza de Consuelo, mientras tú sufres tormentos". Lucas 16:24-25.

Señor Jesús, gracias por enseñarnos que registras el bien que hacemos en la tierra. Danos la gracia de multiplicar nuestros actos de caridad con aquellos con los que vivimos y con los que nos encontramos. Amén.
