Sunday, May 24: ASCENSION

“Father . . . give glory to your son, so that your son may glorify you . . .  I glorified you on earth by accomplishing the work that you gave me to do . . . I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, while I am coming to you,” (Jn. 17-1-11a).

Lord Jesus Christ after accomplishing your mission on earth you returned home. Give us the grace to accomplish our tasks on earth that one day you and your Father may glorify us for having accomplished ours too. Amen.


Domingo 24  de Mayo: ASCENSION

“Padre. . . glorifica a tu Hijo para que tu hijo ¡te de gloria a ti!.. Yo te he glorificado en la tierra y he terminado la obra que me habías encomendado. Yo ya no estoy más en el mundo, pero ellos se quedan en el mundo, mientras yo vuelvo a ti,” (Juan 17-1-11a).

 “Sean bondadosos, amen al Señor, oren por aquellos que no lo conocen. ¡Qué gracia tan enorme es conocer a Dios!” Santa Josefina Bakhita.

Señor Jesucristo después de lograr tu misión en la tierra regresaste a casa. Concédenos la gracia de terminar nuestras tareas en la tierra para que un día tú y tu Padre puedan glorificarnos por haber cumplido con las nuestras también. Amen
