“Jesus took Peter, James and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. And he was transfigured before them; his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light.” Matthew 17:1-3.
“True virtue has no limits, but goes on and on, and especially holy charity, which is the virtue of virtues, and which having a definite object, would become infinite if it could meet with a heart capable of infinity.” St. Frances de Sales.
Jesus, what love You had, to live in this human body, with its limitations and weaknesses, and all the while You are truly the shining One, the Creator of the universe. May Your kind eyes always be upon us. Jesus, we trust in You! Amen.
