“As Jesus passed by, he saw a man born blind from birth.  His disciples asked him “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind.?” Jesus answered, “Neither he nor his parents sinned; it is so the works of God might be visible through him.” John 9:1-3.

“We made bad use of immortality, and so ended up dying. Christ made good use of mortality, so that we might end up living.” St. Augustine.

Lord God, please use all we were born with for Your glory.  You see everything, and we don’t see as You do. But we trust Lord, that in the glorious and the mundane, You are at work, bringing about our Father’s will. Amen.

"Cuando Jesús pasó, vio a un hombre ciego de nacimiento.  Sus discípulos le preguntaron: "Rabí, ¿quién pecó, este hombre o sus padres, para que naciera ciego?" Jesús respondió: "Ni él ni sus padres pecaron; es para que las obras de Dios sean visibles a través de él". Juan 9:1-3.

"Hicimos un mal uso de la inmortalidad, y así terminamos muriendo. Cristo hizo buen uso de la vida terrenal, para que pudiéramos terminar viviendo". San Agustín.

Señor Dios, por favor usa todo con lo que nacimos para Tu gloria.  Tú lo ves todo, y nosotros no vemos como Tú. Pero confiamos en el Señor, que en lo glorioso y lo mundano, Tú estás trabajando, llevando a cabo la voluntad de nuestro Padre. Amén.
