Sunday June 11, 2023 Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ

“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me, and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on Me will have life because of Me.” John 6:56-57.

“Jesus Christ gives himself entirely to us; he unites his sacred body with ours; and by this union, we become one and the same spirit with him.” St. John Baptist de la Sale.

Lord Jesus, through the Eucharist You have given us union with You, Your very life-giving Presence, in us.  Lord, cause us to bear much fruit in receiving You.  Let us look within and see You and bring Your life-giving Presence into the world. Amen.

Domingo 11 de junio 2023 Solemnidad del Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo

"El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre permanece en mí y yo en él. Así como el Padre que es vida, me envió, y yo tengo vida gracias al Padre, así también el que se alimenta de Mí tendrá vida por Mí." Juan 6:56-57.

"Jesucristo se entrega completamente a nosotros; Él une su cuerpo sagrado con el nuestro; y por esta unión, nos convertimos en uno y el mismo espíritu con él". San Juan Bautista de la Sale.

Señor Jesús, a través de la Eucaristía nos has dado la unión contigo, y Tu presencia vivificante, en nosotros.  Señor, haz que demos mucho fruto al recibirte.  Déjanos mirar hacia adentro, te veamos, y llevemos Tu Presencia vivificante al mundo. Amén.
