“At that time: Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And he fasted forty days and forty nights, and afterwards he was hungry. And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.” Matthew 4:1-3.

Lord Jesus the Spirit led You into the wilderness to be tempted!! Your Divinity was challenged but Your answers were all to uphold the power of God. You had been enlightened and strengthened by the powerful prayer of the 40 days. Grace us poor sinners who are weak and feeble; strengthen and enrich our prayer life that the devil may not break us. Amen.
