“Take heed, watch and pray . . . for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrow, or in the morning – lest he come suddenly and find you asleep. And what I say to you I say to all: Watch.” Mark 13:33, 35-37.

“It is necessary to understand that the whole of our life must be an ‘Advent’, a vigilant awaiting of the final coming of Christ.” St. John Paul II.

Lord Jesus You call us to be vigilant, keeping watch, being awake. We pray for that grace to have an all round wakefulness that we may always respond to You with the promptness You deserve. Amen.

"Estén atentos, velen y oren [...] Porque no sabén cuándo vendrá el dueño de la casa, si por la tarde, o a medianoche, o al canto del gallo, o por la mañana, no sea que venga de repente y los encuentre dormidos. Lo que les digo a ustedes, se lo digo a todos: Velen". Marcos 13:33, 35-37.

"Es necesario comprender que toda nuestra vida debe ser un 'Adviento', una espera vigilante de la venida final de Cristo" San Juan Pablo II.

Señor Jesús, Tú nos llamas a estar vigilantes, velando, despiertos. Oramos por esa gracia para tener una vigilia completa para que siempre podamos responderte con la prontitud que mereces. Amén.
