“When John the Baptist heard in prison of the works of Christ, he sent his disciples to Jesus with this question: “Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?” Matthew 11:2-3.

“If you are what you should be, you will set the whole world ablaze!” St. Catherine of Sienna.

Lord Jesus, John saw you, and declared you to be the Lamb of God. Yet in the darkness of prison, he asked, Are you the One? When we are in darkness and cannot see the way, may we trust in you Lord, even if we question: Are you here Lord? Amen.

"Cuando Juan el Bautista oyó en prisión las obras de Cristo, envió a sus discípulos a Jesús con esta pregunta: "¿Eres tú el que ha de venir, o debemos buscar a otro?" Mateo 11:2-3.

"¡Si eres lo que deberías ser, incendiarás el mundo entero!" Santa Catalina de Siena.

Señor Jesús, Juan te vio y te declaró el Cordero de Dios. Sin embargo, en la oscuridad de la prisión, preguntó: ¿Eres tú el Indicado? Cuando estamos en tinieblas y no podemos ver el camino, podemos confiar en ti, Señor, incluso si nos preguntamos: ¿Estás aquí, Señor? Amén.
