Saturday October 28, 2023  Feast of Saints Simon and Jude, Apostles

“Brethren: You are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure is joined together and grows into a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are built into it for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.” Ephesians 2:19-22.

“A Christian has a union with Christ more noble, more intimate, more perfect than the members of a human body have with their head.” St. John Eudes.

Lord Jesus, You have built one Church: Yourself the Cornerstone; the Prophets and Apostles being the Foundation. You invite us to grow into a Divine dwelling place. What an honor You call us to! Make it happen in us; that we may be worthy temples for You. Amen.

"Hermanos: Ya no son extranjeros ni peregrinos, sino ciudadanos de la ciudad de los santos y miembros de la familia de Dios, edificados sobre el fundamento de los apóstoles y profetas, siendo la piedra angular el mismo Cristo Jesucristo, en quien toda la estructura está unida y crece hasta ser un templo santo en el Señor; en el cual también ustedes se van edificando en ella para morada de Dios en el Espíritu". Efesios 2:19-22.

Señor Jesús, Tú has edificado una Iglesia: Tú mismo la Piedra Angular; siendo los Profetas y Apóstoles el Fundamento. Nos invitas a crecer en una morada Divina. ¡Qué honor nos llamas! Haz que suceda en nosotros; para que seamos templos dignos para Ti. Amén.
