“Jesus said to his disciples… ‘If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own; but because you do not belong to the world, and I have chosen you out of the world, the world hates you.” John 15:18-19.

“Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love.” St. Francis of Assisi.

Lord Jesus, when we face opposition because of Your Name, or because of Your teaching, help us remember Your words ‘Love one another, do good to those who persecute You’. May we follow Your example, and lead with mercy and compassion. In Your Holy Name we pray. Amen.

"Jesús dijo a sus discípulos... "Si el mundo los odia, sepan que me odió a mí primero. Si fueran del mundo, el mundo los amaría como cosa suya; pero porque no son del mundo, y yo los he escogido, el mundo los odia". Juan 15:18-19.

"Señor, haz de mí un instrumento de tu paz. Donde hay odio, déjame sembrar amor" San Francisco de Asís.

Señor Jesús, cuando nos enfrentemos a la oposición a causa de Tu Nombre, o a causa de Tus enseñanzas, ayúdanos a recordar Tus palabras: "Ámense los unos a los otros, hagan bien a los que los persiguen". Que sigamos Tu ejemplo y lideremos con misericordia y compasión. En Tu Santo Nombre oramos. Amén.
