“Jesus said to his disciples ‘Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.  Until now you have not asked anything in my name; ask and you will receive, that your joy may be complete.” John 16:23-24.

“Thus abide constantly with the name of our Lord Jesus Christ so that the heart swallows the Lord and the Lord the heart, and the two become one.” St. John Chrysostom.

My Lord, You taught a whole new way of praying. No one had ever prayed in Your Name before, and now You say – pray in my Name, ask in my Name! Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for deeper faith - in the Eucharist, in the sacrament of Penance, and a deeper love for Our Mother Mary. Amen.

"Jesús dijo a sus discípulos: 'En verdad les digo que todo lo que pidan al Padre en mi nombre, él se los dará.  Hasta ahora no han pedido nada en mi nombre; Pidan y recibirán, para que su gozo sea completo". Juan 16:23-24.

"Así permanece constantemente con el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo para que el corazón tome al Señor y el Señor al corazón, y los dos se conviertan en uno." San Juan Crisóstomo.

Mi Señor, Tu enseñaste una forma completamente nueva de orar. Nadie había orado en Tu Nombre antes, y ahora Tú dices – ¡ora en mi Nombre, pide en mi Nombre! Padre, en el nombre de Jesús, pedimos una fe más profunda: en la Eucaristía, en el sacramento de la Penitencia y un amor más profundo por Nuestra Madre María. Amén.
