 “The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, “How can this man give us his Flesh to eat?” Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man and drink his Blood, you do not have life within you. Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day. For my Flesh is true food, and my Blood is true drink. Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood remains in me and I in him. Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me,” (Jn. 6:52-57).

“Jesus has made Himself the Bread of Life to give us life. Night and day, He is there. If you really want to grow in love, come back to the Eucharist, come back to that Adoration,” St. Teresa of Calcutta.

Lord Jesus Christ, you feed us with your Word, Flesh and Blood. Your death and resurrection made this possible. In order for us to have life eternal in us we need to consume you entirely. We pray, give us the courage and resolve never to return to our former ways of life but rather to cling to you always for as St. Peter says, “Master, to whom shall we go?” To have you, live in you and you living in us is to have eternal life!

 “Los judíos discutían entre sí: “¿Cómo puede este darnos su carne a comer?” Jesús les dijo: “En verdad les digo que si no comen la carne del Hijo del Hombre y no beben su sangre, no tienen vida en ustedes. El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre vive de vida eterna, y yo lo resucitaré el último día. Mi carne es verdadera comida y mi sangre es verdadera bebida. El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre permanece en mí y yo en el. Como el Padre, que es vida, me envió y yo vivo por el Padre, así quien me come vivirá por mí,” (Juan 6:52-57).

 “Jesús se convirtió el mismo en el Pan de la Vida para darnos vida. De noche y de día, El está ahí. Si verdaderamente deseas que tu amor aumente, ven de nuevo a la Eucaristía, vuelve a esa Adoración,” Santa Teresa of Calcuta.

  Señor Jesucristo, tu nos alimentas con tu Palabra, Carne y Sangre. Tu muerte y resurrección hicieron esto posible. Para poder temer vida eterna en nosotros necesitamos consumirte por entero. Te rogamos, danos el valor y resolución de nunca volver a nuestras antiguas costumbres de vida, sino mas bien aferrarnos a ti siempre pues como dice San Pedro, “ ¿Maestro, a quien debemos ir?” Tenerte a ti, vivir en ti y que tú viva en nosotros, ¡es gozar de la vida eterna!
