Saturday, June 24, 2023 The Nativity of St. John the Baptist.

“When they came on the eighth day to circumcise the child, they were going to call him Zechariah after his father, but his mother said in reply, “No. He will be called John.” Luke 1:59-60.

“Sanctity has to do with gratitude. To be a saint is to be fueled by gratitude, nothing more and nothing less.” Fr. Ron Rolheiser.

Loving Father, Elizabeth honored You for she chose to name her son John meaning “God is gracious!” Thank You Father for being so gracious in our lives and in our causes without end; You turn around so many things in such marvelous ways!! She who was considered barren is now with child! We thank You Lord. Amen.

Padre amoroso, Elizabeth te honró porque eligió nombrar a su hijo John que significa "¡Dios es misericordioso!" Gracias Padre por ser tan misericordioso en nuestras vidas y en nuestras causas sin fin; ¡¡Das la vuelta a tantas cosas de maneras tan maravillosas!! ¡Ella, que era considerada estéril, ahora está embarazada! Te damos gracias Señor. Amén.
