“They took counsel against Jesus to put him to death. When Jesus realized this, he withdrew from that place. Many people followed him, and he cured them all, but he warned them not to make it known,” (Matthew 12:14-16).

“Do not look forward to what might happen tomorrow. The same everlasting Father who cares for you today, will take care of you tomorrow and every day. Either he will shield you from suffering. Or he will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace then and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations.” St. Francis de Sales

Jesus, they sought to kill you, and yet you cured everyone who followed you.  Humanly, you bore the heaviest of burdens, while continuing to pour out love. May we too find strength in our sufferings by your grace, and bear the fruit of loving, of bringing you to the world. Amen

“Los fariseos planearon la manera de acabar con él. Jesús lo supo y se alejó de allí, pero muchas personas lo siguieron, y el sanó a cuantos estaban enfermos. Pero les pedía insistentemente que no hablaran de él,” (Mateo 12:14-16).

 “No veas hacia delante pensando en lo que pueda suceder mañana. El mismo Padre eterno que te cuida hoy, te cuidará mañana y todos los días. Ya sea que te proteja de tu sufrimiento, o te dará una fuerza inagotable para tolerarlo. Ten paz entonces, haz a un lado todos tus pensamientos de ansiedad e imaginaciones.” San Francisco de Sales

Jesús, buscaban matarte, y no obstante tu sanaste a todos los que te seguían. Humanamente, tú llevaste a cuestas la más pesada de las cargas, mientras seguías vertiendo amor. Que por tu gracia,  también nosotros podamos encontrar fuerza en nuestro sufrimiento, y producir el fruto del amor para mostrarte al mundo. Amen
