“When I came to you brothers and sisters, proclaiming the mystery of God, I did not come with sublimity or words or wisdom. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you, except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.” 1 Corinthians 2:1-2.

Lord God, let this sink deeply within us – this profound and simple truth – Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. This is why we live, this truth permeates the world. Light of Christ, bring freedom this day to all. Break down barriers and free up captives. For this we pray. Amen.

Señor Dios, permite que esto penetre profundamente dentro de nosotros, esta verdad profunda y sencilla: Jesucristo, y Él crucificado. Por eso vivimos, esta verdad impregna el mundo. Luz de Cristo, trae la libertad hoy a todos. Derriba barreras y libera a los cautivos. Por esto oramos. Amén.
