“I, John, looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads . . . It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes; these have been redeemed from mankind as first fruits for God and the Lamb, and in their mouth no lie was found, for they are spotless.” Revelation 14:1, 4b-5.

“My sheep follow me” says Christ. By a certain God-given grace, believers follow in the footsteps of Jesus, they obey the commands of Christ, and guided by his words, rise through grace, to his own dignity, for they are called children of God.” St. Cyril of Alexandria.

Loving Father make us true followers of the Lamb in all our ways and journeys. Make all the fruits of our labor be fruits for the Lamb. Make us spotless in His courtyards. Amen.

Son estos los que siguen al Cordero dondequiera que vaya; estos han sido redimidos de la humanidad como primicias para Dios y el Cordero, y en su boca no se encontró mentira, porque son sin mancha". Apocalipsis 14:1, 4b-5.

"Mis ovejas me siguen", dice Cristo. Por una cierta gracia dada por Dios, los creyentes siguen los pasos de Jesús, obedecen los mandamientos de Cristo y, guiados por sus palabras, se elevan por gracia, a su propia dignidad, porque son llamados hijos de Dios". San Cirilo de Alejandría.

Padre amoroso haznos verdaderos seguidores del Cordero en todos nuestros caminos y viajes. Haz que todos los frutos de nuestro trabajo sean frutos para el Cordero. Haznos inmaculados en Sus patios. Amén.
