“Naaman went away angry saying ‘I thought he would surely come out and stand there to invoke the Lord his God’…But his servants came up and reasoned with him ‘If the prophet had told you to do something extraordinary, would you not have done it? All the more now since he said to you ‘Wash and be clean’ should you do as he said.” 2 Kings 5:11,13.

“You aspire to great things? Begin with little ones.” St. Augustine.

Lord God, most always You give us the simplest things to do. Most of us won’t be facing martyrdom today, but You may ask us to visit someone, or clean the bathroom, or stop at Church for a small visit. Help us to do the simplest things with love, in Your peace. Amen.

"Naamán se fue enojado, diciendo: 'Pensé que seguramente saldría a mi encuentro, para invocar al Señor su Dios'... Pero sus siervos se acercaron y razonaron con él: "Si el profeta te hubiera dicho que hicieras algo extraordinario, ¿no lo habrías hecho? Con mayor razón ahora, que te dijo: 'Bañate y quedaras sano', si haces lo que él te dijo". 2 Reyes 5:11,13.

"¿Aspiras a grandes cosas? Comiencen con los pequeños" San Agustín.

Señor Dios, la mayoría de las veces nos das las cosas más sencillas que hacer. La mayoría de nosotros no nos enfrentaremos al martirio hoy, pero puedes pedirnos que visitemos a alguien, o que limpiemos el baño, o que nos detengamos en la Iglesia para una pequeña visita. Ayúdanos a hacer las cosas más sencillas con amor, en Tu paz. Amén.
