“The scribes said to Jesus ‘Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery. Now, in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say . . . He said to them ‘Let the one among you who is without sin cast the first stone at her.” John 8:4-5, 7.

Heavenly Father, forgive us for judging others and pointing out their faults. This behavior sickens our own soul, making it difficult to receive Your love and be the people You’ve created us to be.  Help us to show the very mercy we depend on for ourselves Lord and see the goodness in others. Amen.

"Los escribas dijeron a Jesús: 'Maestro, esta mujer fue sorprendida en el acto mismo de cometer adulterio. Moisés nos manda en la ley apedrear a tales mujeres. Entonces, ¿qué dices? Él les dijo: "El que esté libre de pecado, que tire la primera piedra". Juan 8:4-5, 7.

"El perdón es ante todo una elección personal, una decisión del corazón de ir contra el instinto natural de devolver el mal con el mal". Papa San Juan Pablo II.

Padre Celestial, perdónanos por juzgar a los demás y señalar sus faltas. Este comportamiento enferma nuestra propia alma, lo que dificulta recibir Tu amor y ser las personas para las que nos has creado.  Ayúdanos a mostrar la misericordia de la que dependemos para nosotros mismos, Señor, y a ver la bondad en los demás. Amén.
