“You have heard it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth’. But I say to you, offer no resistance to one who is evil.  When someone strikes you on your right cheek, turn the other one to him as well.” Mathew 5:38-39.

Lord Jesus, you are our best example of loving those who do us harm.  You had no hate for those who mocked you, only love.  Pour grace into our hearts today, that we may begin to love as you love, to forgive as you forgive. Amen.

Señor Jesús, tú eres nuestro mejor ejemplo de amar a aquellos que nos hacen daño.  No tenías odio por aquellos que se burlaban de ti, solo amor.  Derrama la gracia en nuestros corazones hoy, para que podamos comenzar a amar como amas, a perdonar como perdonas. Amén.
