“Jesus said to His disciple: “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and decay destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” Matthew 6:19-21.

“We have had Your treasures within us, ever since we received baptismal grace. It grows ever richer at Your sacramental table.” St. Ephrim.

Lord Jesus, You invite us to a life of virtue rather than material wealth and earthly accumulation of property. A life lived in You and for Your sake is a life prepared to live on with You when this earthly life is gone. May we choose in time the appropriate life Lord. Amen.

"Jesús dijo a su discípulo: "No se hagan tesoros en la tierra, donde la polilla y la podredumbre destruyen, y ladrones minan y hurtan. Mas acumulad tesoros en el cielo, donde ni la polilla ni la podredumbre destruyen, ni ladrones rompen el muro y hurtan. Porque donde esté tu tesoro, allí estará también tu corazón". Mateo 6:19-21.

"Hemos tenido Tus tesoros dentro de nosotros, desde que recibimos la gracia bautismal. Se enriquece cada vez más en Tu mesa sacramental." San Efraín.

Señor Jesús, nos invitas a una vida de virtud en lugar de riqueza material y acumulación terrenal de propiedades. Una vida vivida en Ti y por Tu bien es una vida preparada para vivir Contigo cuando esta vida terrenal se haya ido. Que escojamos con el tiempo la vida apropiada Señor. Amén.
