“For this reason, I remind you to stir into flame the gift of God that you have through the imposition of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:6-7.

“O Christ, our Morning Star, Splendor of Light Eternal, shining with the glory of the rainbow, come and waken us from the greyness of our apathy and renew in us your gift of hope.” Bede the Venerable.

God our Father, renew us in Your Spirit, give us fresh eyes to see the grandeur of what You’ve done in us through our Baptism. We are filled with treasure, and often act as if we are poor and barren inside. Give us new faith, to act and live as children of the King. Amen.

"Por eso, les recuerdo que enciendan el don de Dios que tienen por la imposición de mis manos. Porque Dios no nos ha dado un espíritu de cobardía, sino más bien un espíritu de poder, de amor y de dominio propio". 2 Timoteo 1:6-7.

"Oh Cristo, nuestra Estrella de la Mañana, Esplendor de Luz Eterna, resplandeciente con la gloria del arco iris, ven y despiértanos de lo gris de nuestra apatía y renueva en nosotros tu don de esperanza". Beda el Venerable.

Dios nuestro Padre, renuévanos en Tu Espíritu, danos ojos frescos para ver la grandeza de lo que has hecho en nosotros a través de nuestro Bautismo. Estamos llenos de tesoros, y a menudo actuamos como si fuéramos pobres y estériles por dentro. Danos nueva fe, para actuar y vivir como hijos del Rey. Amén.
