Father You spared David from the path of mischief and crime; even though he could have killed Saul who had turned into an enemy. Give us the gift of being magnanimous: noble in mind and action; able to overlook injury and insult so as to be true children of You. Amen.

Padre Tu salvaste a David del camino de la malicia y el crimen; a pesar de que podría haber matado a Saúl que se había convertido en un enemigo. Danos el don de ser magnánimos: nobles en mente y acción; capaces de pasar por alto la lesión y el insulto para ser verdaderos hijos Tuyos. Amén.
