“In those days: A Pharisee in the council named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, held in honor by all the people, stood up and ordered the apostles to be put outside for a while. And he said to them, “Men of Israel, take care what you do with these men . . . keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this undertaking is of men, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!” Acts 5:34. 38-39.

“Let us be guided by the Holy Spirit. Allow him to speak to our hearts, and he will tell us this: God is Love.” Pope Francis.

Holy Spirit, Gamaliel brought sanity in the council; he invited reflection and correct analysis of the situation at hand. Spirit of God guide us in all our reflections and choice of a path or way forward; may it always be under Your inspiration. Amen.

"En aquellos días, un fariseo del concilio llamado Gamaliel, maestro de la ley, a quien todo el pueblo tenía en honra, se puso de pie y ordenó que los apóstoles fueran sacados afuera por un tiempo. Y les dijo: Varones israelitas, cuídense de lo que hacen con estos hombres [...] alejense de estos hombres y dejenlos en paz; porque si su Proyecto o su actividad es cosa de hombres, fracasará; pero si es de Dios, no podran destruirlos. ¡Incluso podrían estar luchando contra Dios!" Hechos 5:34. 38-39.

"Dejémonos guiar por el Espíritu Santo. Permítele hablar a nuestros corazones y nos dirá esto: Dios es Amor". Papa Francisco.

Espíritu Santo, Gamaliel trajo cordura al concilio; Invitó a la reflexión y al análisis correcto de la situación actual. Espíritu de Dios guíanos en todas nuestras reflexiones y elección de una trayectoria o camino a seguir; que siempre esté bajo Tu inspiración. Amén.
