Divine Mercy Sunday, April 24, 2022

“Jesus said . . . “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you” . . . And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” John 20:21-23.

“Remember: the sinner who is sorry for his sins is closer to God than the just man who boasts of his good works.” St. Padre Pio.

Lord Jesus You wish us peace which comes from sins forgiven. Lord even though we sin You want us to be forgiven sinners. May You always be present in our hearts and lives because You have nothing to accuse us of. Amen.

"Jesus dijo . . . "La paz sea con vosotros. Como me envió el Padre, así os envío yo” . . . Y dicho esto, sopló sobre ellos y les dijo: Recibid el Espíritu Santo. Si perdonáis los pecados de alguno, le quedan perdonados; si retuvieres los pecados de alguno, le son retenidos.” Juan 20:21-23.

“Recordad: el pecador que se arrepiente de sus pecados está más cerca de Dios que el justo que se jacta de sus buenas obras”. San Padre Pío.

Señor Jesús, Tú nos deseas la paz que proviene del perdón de los pecados. Señor a pesar de que pecamos Tú quieres que seamos pecadores perdonados. Que siempre estés presente en nuestros corazones y vidas porque no tienes de qué acusarnos. Amén.
