Dear faithful people of God,

We are able to worship once again inside the church building!  On Wednesday morning, September 30 Santa Barbara County moves into the “red tier” of the gradual opening up of businesses and houses of Worship.  What does this mean for us at St. Joseph Church?  We may return to celebrating Mass inside our beautiful St. Joseph Church, although restricted to the limit of 100 people.

Daily Mass Schedule in the main Church on Linden Avenue

English:  Monday through Saturday at 7:30 am

Español: Lunes a Viernes a las 6:30 pm

Sunday Mass Schedule

5:30 pm Saturday evening Vigil Mass in English

7:00 am domingo Misa en español

9:00 am Sunday Mass in English

11:00 am domingo Misa en español

5:30 pm domingo/Sunday Youth Mass (bilingual)

What precautions continue to be necessary?  We will take temperatures upon entry; still wear masks; still maintain social distance; and still sanitize our hands often.  I look forward to seeing you again inside the Church that we might celebrate Mass and receive Holy Communion in person. 

We give thanks to God and to the Queen of our Festival, Our Lady of Guadalupe.  Let’s keep praying and let’s keep sacrificing to keep each other safe.
