“Brethren: We are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God . . . Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 5:20 and 6:2.

“Holiness does not consist in not making mistakes or never sinning. Holiness grows with the capacity for conversion and repentance, and willingness to begin again.” Pope Benedict XVI.

Father, give us a heart which gets tired of doing wrong. During this time of grace may we seek to do right and be acceptable to You and to others; may doing and saying the right thing be our daily song. Amen.

Padre, danos un corazón que se canse de hacer el mal. Durante este tiempo de gracia, procuremos hacer lo correcto y ser aceptables para Ti y para los demás; Que hacer y decir lo correcto sea nuestro canto diario. Amén.
