“Jesus was told ‘Your mother and your brothers are standing outside and they wish to see you.’ He said to them in reply ‘My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and act on it.” Luke 8:20-21.

“We can live this life to the fullest – with one’s feet firmly planted on the ground – and respond courageously to whatever new challenges come our way.” Pope Francis.

Lord Jesus, Your mother heard the word of God and kept it, all of her life, letting grace upon grace build, day after day. Through her intercession may we too learn, to really listen to Your word, and put it into action. Amen.

"Le dijeron a Jesús: 'Tu madre y tus hermanos están fuera y desean verte'. Les dijo en respuesta: "Mi madre y mis hermanos son los que escuchan la palabra de Dios y la cumplen.” Lucas 8:20-21.

"Podemos vivir esta vida al máximo, con los pies firmemente plantados en el suelo, y responder con valentía a cualquier nuevo desafío que se nos presente". Papa Francisco.

Señor Jesús, Tu madre escuchó la palabra de Dios y la guardó, toda su vida, dejando que la gracia sobre la gracia se construyera, día tras día. Que a través de su intercesión también nosotros aprendamos a escuchar realmente Tu palabra y a ponerla en acción. Amén.
