Perimeter Fence and its consequences for parking entry and exiting

Construction of a perimeter fence around the field and school building has begun.  Expected time of completion is the end of June.

The handsome, wrought iron fence will run north-south along Linden Avenue and east-west along the edge of the field closest to the Church parking lot.  

There will be five gates allowing entry and egress from the school and field:

1.A pedestrian gate will be next to the preschool building nearest to the Church parking lot.*
2.Another pedestrian gate will provide entry to the classrooms and will be located on the cement walkway in front of the classrooms very close to the door of room 1.
3.A large gate for vehicle entry onto and exit from the field will be placed at the end of the drainage cement between two palm trees.  (We are familiar with this space because we entered and exited the field at this very location for outdoor mass during the Pandemic.)
4.Another gate will run along the edge of the field and small parking lot at the end of the Pastoral Center.  This will mostly be used during the annual Festival.
5.Finally, there will be a gate behind the school building to block access during the school day.

It is expected that the gates will be closed and locked during the school day from 7 am – 4 p.m.  After this time the pedestrian gates as well as the gate behind the parish classrooms will be unlocked.

Please note:  If you are accustomed to driving onto the campus and parking either on the pavement behind the school or on the cement where the festival food court is constructed, you will need to alter your plans for exiting the property.

*You MAY NO LONGER drive off the property on the cement leading to the Church parking lot near the pre-school building.  The pedestrian gate there is too small for a car to pass through.  Please exit the property by driving behind the school building and using the gate.

The building of this fence is timely and gives us one more safety feature to safeguard our children and ourselves while using the classrooms in the school building.

Valla perimetral y sus consecuencias para la entrada y salida del estacionamiento

Ha comenzado la construcción de una cerca perimetral alrededor del campo y el edificio de la escuela.  El tiempo previsto de finalización es a finales de junio.

La hermosa cerca de hierro forjado correrá de norte a sur a lo largo de Linden Avenue y de este a oeste a lo largo del borde del campo más cercano al estacionamiento de la Iglesia.  

Habrá cinco puertas que permitirán la entrada y salida de la escuela y el campo:
1.Una puerta peatonal estará al lado del edificio preescolar más cercano al estacionamiento de la Iglesia. *
2.Otra puerta peatonal dará entrada a las aulas y se ubicará en la pasarela de cemento frente a las aulas muy cerca de la puerta del salón 1.
3.Se colocará una gran puerta para la entrada y salida de vehículos del campo al final del cemento de drenaje entre dos palmeras.  (Estamos familiarizados con este espacio porque entramos y salimos del campo en este mismo lugar para la misa al aire libre durante la pandemia).
4.Otra puerta correrá a lo largo del borde del campo y un pequeño estacionamiento al final del Centro Pastoral.  Esto se utilizará principalmente durante el Festival anual.
5.Finalmente, habrá una puerta detrás del edificio de la escuela para bloquear el acceso durante el día escolar.

Se espera que las puertas estén cerradas y con seguro durante el día escolar de 7 am a 4 p.m.  Después de este tiempo, las puertas peatonales, así como la puerta detrás de las aulas parroquiales se abrirán.

Tenga en cuenta: Si está acostumbrado a conducir hacia el campo y estacionarse en el pavimento detrás de la escuela o en el cemento donde se construyen los puestos de comidas del festival, deberá modificar sus planes para salir de la propiedad.

* Ya no puede  conducir fuera de la propiedad en el cemento que conduce al estacionamiento de la Iglesia cerca del edificio preescolar.  La puerta peatonal allí es demasiado pequeña para que pase un automóvil.  Salga de la propiedad conduciendo detrás del edificio de la escuela y usando la puerta.

La construcción de esta cerca es oportuna y nos da una característica de seguridad más para salvaguardar a nuestros hijos y a nosotros mismos mientras usamos las aulas en el edificio de la escuela.
