“A man fell victim to robbers…they stripped and beat him, leaving him half dead…A Samaritan traveler was moved with compassion at the sight…and poured oil and wine over his wounds, bandaged him, and lifted him on his own animal and took him to an inn.” Luke 10:30, 33-34.

“Like the Good Samaritan, may we not be ashamed of touching the wounds of those who suffer, but try to heal them with concrete acts of love.” Pope Francis.

Father God, help us to see the walking wounded all around us.  We are quick to condemn, to criticize, but if we begin to see with Your eyes, we will act with compassion and wisdom.  May we bring healing and restoration by the power of Your love. Amen.

"Un hombre fue víctima de ladrones... lo desnudaron y golpearon, dejándolo medio muerto... Un viajero samaritano se conmovió con compasión al verlo... y vertió aceite y vino sobre sus heridas, lo vendó, lo levantó sobre su propio animal y lo llevó a una posada". Lucas 10:30, 33-34.

"Como el Buen Samaritano, que no nos avergoncemos de tocar las heridas de los que sufren, sino que tratemos de curarlas con actos concretos de amor". Papa Francisco.

Padre Dios, ayúdanos a ver a los heridos que caminan a nuestro alrededor.  Nos apresuramos a condenar, a criticar, pero si comenzamos a ver con Tus ojos, actuaremos con compasión y sabiduría.  Que podamos traer sanación y restauración por el poder de Tu amor. Amén.
