“Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went away quickly from the tomb, fearful and yet overjoyed…and behold, Jesus met them on their way…and said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers to go to Galilee and there they will see me.” Matthew 28:8-10.

“Most of all I imitate the behavior of Mary Magdalene, for her amazing – or, rather, loving audacity which delighted the heart of Jesus, has cast its spell upon mine.” St. Therese of Lisieux.

Lord Jesus, Mary Magdalene was the apostle to the apostles, bringing the news of Resurrection! Through her intercession, may we too be witnesses to others of everlasting life, gained for us by your rising from the dead. Amen.

"María Magdalena y la otra María se fueron rápidamente de la tumba, temerosas, pero llenas de alegría... y he aquí, Jesús los encontró en su camino... y les dijo: 'No tengáis miedo. Vayan a decirles a mis hermanos que se dirijan a Galilea y allí me verán". Mateo 28:8-10.

"Sobre todo, imito el comportamiento de María Magdalena, porque su asombrosa o, más bien, amorosa audacia que deleitó el corazón de Jesús, ha lanzado su hechizo sobre el mío". Santa Teresa de Lisieux.

Señor Jesús, ¡María Magdalena fue el apóstol de los apóstoles, trayendo la noticia de la Resurrección! Que, por su intercesión, también nosotros seamos testigos para otros de vida eterna, ganada para nosotros por tu resurrección de entre los muertos. Amén.
