Friday, June 24, 2022 Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

“God shows his love for us in that while we were, yet sinners Christ died for us . . . For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.” Romans 5:6, 8-9.

“Be the living expression of God’s kindness; kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile.” St. Teresa of Calcutta.

Lord Jesus, You showed us a love beyond telling. You shared Your heart and all that it contains. Your love is a love which is only content with a hundred percent; it is ready to risk leaving the ninety-nine and going for the one which is lost. May we be like You; always living and acting as You did towards You and our brothers and sisters. Amen.

Viernes 24 de junio, Solemnidad del Sacratísimo Corazón de Jesús

Señor Jesús, Tú nos mostraste un amor más allá de contarlo. Compartiste Tu corazón y todo lo que contiene. Tu amor es un amor que sólo se contenta con el cien por cien; está dispuesto a arriesgarse a dejar los noventa y nueve e ir por el que se pierde. Que seamos como Tú; siempre viviendo y actuando como lo hiciste contigo y con nuestros hermanos y hermanas. Amén.
